What happened to this agency?

Remember the boot camp? Okay, it was expensive and had some staffing problems but philosophically it made sense. Consequences for behavior. An 18 year old's first experience of incarceration is headed North on a bus with no windows? Do you realize that Cruz never even saw the inside of JAC?

There's been 6 years of slack juvenile practice. How many other dangerous kids are out there? You will really allow this to continue for a few extra dollars?

Did this admin have the right to put YOU in increased danger every day? Although you, personally, would have run into the 1200 building, what right did this admin have to create a situation where you had to ? For what? Your family would be shattered for a faux and twisted ideology that is practiced to appease a demographic for the sole purpose of securing re-election and obtaining increased yearly funding.

Is that the explanation that would comfort your kids?

The bulk of the No Confidence Vote damage is already done. Read the headlines. The Sheriff is a very vindictive individual. There is no way he will not hold a grudge from here on in. There will be more threats and intimation and blood bath from the Sheriff.

The best option is for him to be removed. And to help to do that is to have a large turnout and overwhelmingly say to the Sheriff, Governor, and the people of Broward County that he needs to go, and we have No Confidence in his ability to run the Sheriff's Office.

If you think by not voting or voting "Yes you have Confidence in the Sheriff" you won't be affected? Your wrong. It will be a more toxic and a hostile work environment than it is now. The Sheriff doesn't care if you are collateral damage, as long as he thinks he is punishing those who he feels betrayed him.

The first step to fixing this place is to get rid of the problem.
