Will the new DC have to work nights since there is already a senior DC on days and they need to spread the seniority out?

No. Illogical moves and uneducated decisions only happen to the first floor.

C'mon yall, lets have a huge party and celebrate the amazing and angelic-like command staff. It is command who are the true backbone of a law enforcement agency. It is command who suffer all the stress and face all the danger head on, the tip of the spear if you will. It is command who should be showered with praise and handed the keys to the bank vault. Three cheers for command staff....hip hip...hooray.....hip hip hooray.....hip hip....hooray.....

If you keep giving common sense answers like this they are going to fire you or find a way to keep you on kights forever.
