Im all about exposing the agencies BS, but lets speak our minds in a mature way. They already make anyone that speaks up look as if they are the problem or have a problem. The two tyrants running D4 left a few years ago and Burton is gone, so that is a plus. Chief still here so the nit picking and walking on egg shells and the massive disconnect between the front lines and the commant still exist. We still make decisions based on fear, not justice.

There is now a fifth district. However, in order to have enough cops to work it, they got rid of the entire mid shift. It has been a nightmare of getting slammed late and going home late. They created a bandaid solution and gave some squads up to two mid shift units. Helps nothing. Of course there is a fresh fifth set of command staff there at D5 while still beyond short on patrol. It effect us at other districts. I guess no one remembers how they told us we would have anywhere between 2 to four units in each zone when we went to lesser biger zones instead of the old smaller many zones. What a joke. Now if they put 1 unit per zone, zones APPEAR filled. I been working my zone alone for a long time and it makes me overwhelmed and it makes me hate the agency. Im sure im not alone in this. Im also sure it reflects on how some of us interact with the public and how it affects the quality of our investigations.

Trust me the chief could care less. He hasnt done a traffic stop or came to roll call in years yet he makes policy. CC way over his head and will not make any changes for fear if the chief. I too work patrol and we are over whelmed and half my squad has aps to the feds. Says it all doesnt it. My buddy is in hsd and he says the same things patrol does that unqualified people are running the show. Sad isnt it
