If the agency is known (and always demonstrated) to be a pit for unhireables, retreads, retireds on duty and managed by incompetents whose qualifications questionable, from what magic pool will these volunteers be selected to be in the "trained better than the "average" deputy" for this "School Marshall/School SEAL TEAM 6/School Special Forces/Elementary School Force Recon/Backwoods Blackwater" style program?

If people, you know "nothing special about regular deputies except their training", if the department cant attract or retain people with actual ability and profesional standards for pay, it is going to be interesting to see what comes up for this volunteer assignment for no pay, but "better trained than the average deputy" Going to be interesting.

This department already has a great reputation and proven track record for covering up and perjury, when the first inevitable negligient event happens just add it to the pile of lawsuits already, but just add Puletti and the council to the suit.

This whole program has the fingerprints of disaster on it. Giving advanced training (by your own words) that "regular" deputies will not be afforded (you know the ones who are paid to to their jobs) to "volunteers".

Why not screen "regular" deputies with such scrutiny? Because half of the agency would not make it?

Why are not "regular" deputies offered such advanced training? (Because ts not their job, right?)
