$23 an Hour deputies for schools are a joke and the Sarasota Sheriff and The Sarasota School Board should be a ashamed of themselves. Hiring retired deputies for campuses then giving them no real authority is shameful. They already have a pension, they are not going to preform like a young deputy wanting to make his career. Most of them left because they where tired, didn’t want to work in law enforcement anymore, not to mention somewhat lazy. Finding young Deputies that are egar to make a career, willing to learn and are energetic is the way to go. What Is going on is shameful. Pasification
