What’s Going On With Captains?
So some of our Tallahassee captains are receiving almost $90k and are now adding to it by taking SOAR pay away from $35k troopers. Thanks a lot captains! Don’t blame the Legislature when your pay could be increased with less greed from our own captains.

So in July they’ll be at $99,000 and still able to work SOAR?

Anyone know what Pikul did to get $89k as a new captain? Look it up! In record time he went from Academy lieutenant to Communications lieutenant to Communications captain and as a new captain makes more than longtime captains???

Pikul is a pos who will stab anyone just to make his way up the latter. They couldn't wait to get rid of him at the academy, MR rainbow.

Captains SOAR money does NOT affect your pay. New starting trooper pay will be $40,660 July 1st. Colonel is still shooting for $42K for starting.
You knew what the pay was when you started. If it dosent work for you then leave. Go to another agency or get out of law enforcement all together.

To quote you, “it dosent [sic] work”!! You have too much information, dude, and either you can’t spell or don’t review your texts before you send them. Clearly you’re in Tallahassee. But, moron, the point is that Captains shouldn’t be taking away hours (pay!) that could go to troopers who make less than half the salary of the captains.
