You are not a government, sorry you work for a campus PD. You don’t qualify for what you are trying to warn against.

Oh they do have dictators and queens. Do as I say not as I do.
So be careful unless you have a good lawyer and documentation of all their flagrant abuse of authority. They will try to make you look like a disgruntled employee.

Morale in the patrol division just went up like a good day in the stock market on Wall Street. Too bad the Lt. over patrol didn't retire too, it would have been a bonanza for the morale of the patrol division patrol for this police department.

Ding dong the witch is dead, which ole witch?, the witch of patrol. Gah!

Will the Sgt.'s in patrol finally be able to do their job without crazy stat requests and micromanagement from this guy on daily activity or the micromanagement on every call here besides a special detail or a building check? Or will it get worse now....that is the question......?

This is a sad day in law enforcement. A fellow officer retires after a career of exemplary commitment and his “brothers and sisters” just attack with cowardly hatred. You may not have agreed with his decisions but he really cared about YOU and the profession. Deepest apologies for giving a damn. Hope your career gives you the respect you deserve when your time to retire comes.

To the Author of the above comment GFY. He should have done all of us a favor and retired 10 years ago.

Please join me in congratulating the retirement of this guy, No not really. Everyone in patrol is glad to see this guy retired.
Most want to throw up with this guy's way of running things through stats. A good connection with the people working for you does not run like that. It is a divorce from the patrol division due to a failure to communicate and a lack of ability to connect. I for one, as a Sgt. will not miss his calls or texts at all hours of the day and night with his ridicules requests. His answer to everything was, to turn things into a Baker Act or see if the person needs a Baker Act. What an idiot, did he even take the police required CIS 101? (Critical Intervention Class)

How did he even get promoted to the position of Captain without ever serving in the many positions of this agency that is required and is looked at to even be considered for promotion? TRT, FTO, Teaching classes, Gun range, Defensive Tactics, or any other trainings. He was a fake that could run stats on a computer, which anyone these days can do if they want. They have have said about him, if he could not stun you with his brilliance, he would dazzle you with his BS. This is a good day for this police dept. and the morale of patrol division here.

It was time for this guy to go, very true, but I can guarantee you that there won't be another guy that makes it as far as him in their career here. Guarantee you. Think about that and what I said.....
