Since when is responding to your calls and handling them such a big deal that it winds up in the news because body cam captured it. Officer of the month for doing and acting on a check on the welfare call. Really? This is why this department is a joke. We reward people for doing their job, nothing out of the extraordinary here. What were they supposed to do knock and the door and leave? This has been done before with no recognition. Reward your proactive officers that initiate things on their own. Ask him what he was doing before this call. Gonzalez is a joke and scared of his own shadow but yet Chaka is being FTO’d again. I guess it’s better than sleeping half the night on the beach.
