C.R.A.S.E - Decent Training for Principals / Poor Spokesman in Muppet

The Parkway tragedy has brought a number of issues to the forefront, ranging from school safety to gun control to mental health. All require some attention; however, this issue appears to be moving a bit too quickly, as a result of public outcry, media sensationalizing and political grandstanding. Law are being created in a vacuum and monies being thrown at the problem without careful consideration. The C.R.A.S.E. training is an example of some decent and easy concepts for our principals. It's another tool in their tool box and a small part of a bigger safety plan.

Unfortunately, our poor principals have to sit, agonizingly, through a presentation and speech by Muppet, who is a self-serving puppet and a seemingly poor spokesman for this issue and our department. He's seems to present like a bumbling fool, making little sense and is an embarrASSment to chiefs of police, our profession, the school system, himself and all of us. He claims to be an expert, but that is his empty claim, possibly made to do what Muppet does best...build his resume and take care of Muppet and his clique.

I think principals talk - to each other and others, including the troops. Muppet, you should resign and leave, NOW! The superintendent is, of course, promoting himself as a savior to children and school safety and appears stuck with you, for now, but please, for the sake of all of us (troops, school employees, parents and students), just GO AWAY!

The union should grow a spine, yes you Mr. President, and demand a Vote of NO CONFIDENCE in Muppet! Stop playing politics and back away from the buffet. We are all supposed to be covering schools while Muppet does what? He should be at a school too.
