BSO SRO suspended for sleeping on-campus on-duty

BSO SRO Deputy Moises Carotti was suspended after a student caught him sleeping in his patrol car parked next to the building where the shooting occurred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland. On the same day, the following arrests were made on campus:

• One student pulled a knife out of her bra after a lunchtime fight.
• Another student displayed a knife on a bus.
• A third student was arrested after detectives say he made a threat on social media.

Wow sleeping in his patrol car. I couldn't imagine an SRO doing anything to put his student's lives at risk when he should be 100% focused on his duties. It's not like he was in a closed office getting a sex act performed on him, right LT DB?

That is proof positive that knives should be banned nationwide. Concealed or open carry knife-permits should only be issued to those who need knives in the performance of their duties, such as cooks or anglers.

Yes I would never imagine an SRO at the Sarasota Sheriff's Office getting a BJ from a teacher while on duty, then being promoted. The sheriff would never allow that to happen! Would you Tom?
