    Officer almost killed yesterday

I saw it... They intentionally threw a bottle at the officers head very hard, he was only able to block it beacuse he was very lucky. The bottle shattered his hand and wrist and even split his wedding ring in half. He would be dead if that bottle was going any faster. ☆Vote of no confidence☆ piss poor planning piss poor staffing and intentionally lowered the amount of officers we need caused this near death in the line of duty. It's a ****ing war zone not a vacation destination. That officer should sue for obvious misfeesance. He's not dead beacuse the bad guy did not throw the bottle and faster. The empororer has no clothes, no one can reason with our top command staff #1 or #2.... we need less politics and more integrity and stop jeopardizing the safety of our residents and those public safety officers. TOTALLY unacceptable unmitigated disaster.

Ocean drive is a ghetto. Awesome job by city hall. Can't wait for memorial day weekend.

I thought the DJ idea was suppose to settle everyone LOL. Another liberal “if we can't beat them join them” idea.

How about giving us a real Chief that knows how to lead and not some left winger using the MBPD as his own twisted project.

FYI Chief. Haven’t met ONE person who is fighting for a camera.

DAn couldn’t lead us out of a one way tunnel with an exit sign at the end.

Mayor Dan Gelber told the Miami Herald the city had “a very severe capacity issue.”

“There is way too much stress on our public safety assets,” he said. “We’re going to have to seriously assess Spring Break.”

What he did not tell Herald is how incompetent our Chief is in leading our Police Department.

The lawlessness we experienced is a results of his hands off policy. His mentality is to let the people do whatever they want.

Let’s not forget he decriminalize marijuana usage, which in turn created a marijuana market on Ocean Drive, bringing a large criminal element to that area.

    It’s time for new leadership.
