Durkin
Just a note I sat in those PBA Meetings with Pennington and never, never heard Durkin say he would try TRY his best to include that group, it was stated if we get it you'll get it, don't worry. He lied and is lying now about saying he would do his best, BS.

Why do you keep trashing Kevin on this site? It has nothing to do with his position at T.I.A.P.D. and the benefits obtained involve the Tampa police not the Airport P.D. and was voted on and approved by T.P.D. members as well as the City Council just saying.

This guy’s history as a PBA President with so many allegations of corruption and he walks away! Then he and his family get jobs at Tampa Airport Police. This is the same guy that did contact negotiations with the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority on behalf of the police department, then he gets jobs for him and family members at the airport! Unbelievable nobody investigated this family connection! Eventually Janet Zink and Joe Lopano have to look into this nepotism, before the media investigations which will begin soon. They can be implicated in this possible nepotism/ contract negotiations for employment scam on a state or federal level? This corruption must stop!

This guy has a horrible record as the Tampa PBA President. Then he negotiates contracts for Tampa Airport Police.,Then he gets a job at the airport, along with family members, and nobody questions the integrity of these hirings! Joe Lopano and Janet Zink need to explain these hirings and promotion of Kevin Durkin to Sergeant, especially when it appears that he has no college degree! What a disgrace, especially to people who were much more qualified and didn’t have family members involved in the hiring process. The Sunshine Law makes all of these dealings open to the public. Lopano and Zink need to explain this promotion and family hirings to the general public!

The actual cost to the active officers the first year for the new benefit was 1.8% not the 25% Durkin predicted. Not even close.

Did he have a personal secretary that was overpaid, along with other benefits?
