Ok I get that and that is respected. No one can deny this piss poor leadership we have had for the past decade. Nimer has destroyed Community Corrections. The Governor election cant come fast enough when we can get rid of all these fools.

Mostly female all non sworn and minority and you think you'll get a raise? Good luck. Hows it worked out so far? How many have part time jobs? Who owns their home? Who is dependant on their spouses salary? Who can actually retire after 30 years? These are questions no one above your boss cares about.

Even if they are replaced, what type of people will be put in place? The same! If you are not looking to go elsewhere, you are pretty stupid. Can you say sucker?

LEAVING is what they want you to do, especially if you are a long-timer!

They want you to go find another job, hopefully NOT within FRS as they have already gotten the 'best years' out of you, your primary earning years are gone, and they are pissed-off that they have to pay you anything for the time you have invested thus far. If you leave it's a win-win for them, even more so once they finish conspiring with their criminal friends on Wall Street as to the best way to screw you out of your pension as well!!

True. The Veterans that stayed are the least respected. Total circus of newbies who already plan their exits after less than a year or two. Hire another academy class soon; this group will be gone by 2020. The PP side needs a realistic mission and purpose and professionalism from the top down. This low education low expectation and avoid getting involved shit has got to go. Its embarrassing.

Supervisors strut around acting like they are running a fortune 500 company and think some 25 year-old newbie cannot see through that bullsh*t. "Me have the authority to put a scribble on a piece of paper you print off a 1980's era computer program, so that you may then walk it into the next person, who cannot make a move unless my official scribble is on it! We have now spent $20 in man-power to close a $10 account!" then the next moment they're barking "We have to be more efficient!" WTF

Everyone should be looking elsewhere for a job. Do not be like some of these old timers and just rot here. I have two interviews with real LEO agencies this week. In other words, get the hell out!

Really hard to retain people since DOC pays so little compared to county jails
