That socialist pay plan submitted by agency heads was summarily rejected by the legislature. It was a morally flawed attempt to address a 40 year issue. The only correct way to address compression and retention is to give a percentage for every year of agency service. If you cant do that then an across the board raise is the next best thing. I will take my 10% and be happy with it. Senior agents at 57K is unrealistic and absurd.

I knew it was never going to happen I just think it’s hysterical how some people were strutting around like it was a done deal.

The real slap in the face in the agency plan was punishing those with more than 10 years with the agency. The longer you were here the less raise you got. On what planet was that fair? Even sadder was the fact that upper management thought it was a good idea!

Because if they’re raised The junior agents and starting to 49k like the proposed your seniority doesn’t matter. You can all quit and with that high starting we can bring young energetic people to take your spot. Right now we’re not attracting a good candidate pool and raising starting to 46k/49k would do that

Young and energetic? Just how much energy do you need to work 5-6 hours a day and run surveys? Does it take more energy to put quarters in a machine at the Eagles club. Buying enhancement pills must wear you out! Enough with that nonsense. You have to reward people for their longevity. That is the way it is at the so called real police agencies you snowflakes are always talking about.

Senior Agents, that’s laughable. The “senior agents” at ABT are the idiots that couldn’t get hired anywhere else and bully your administration into allowing their ridiculous shenanigans. Those of us that have moved on to legitimate state agencies that do real investigations can’t help but come back and laugh at your absurd posts here.

Pay for longevity? You just answered your own request, why would you reward anyone with a raise who works 5-6 hours a day doing the bare minimum????
