He's trying to re-live his "Lady Hoggers" fame from a few year back (BTW, does HCSO still have that swamp buggy?). Actually, Peaches heard that there might be a sequel series to "Breaking Bad" and he's going to audition as a shorter, chubbier and more nervous version of Walter White.

Instead of funding cancer treatments, the main character will be trying to earn illicit funding for his criminal defense after forfeiting his pension due to a conviction on official misconduct charges.

Several cable networks and Netflix are highly interested in the concept, stay tuned!

there is no case, the Governor only signed an extension because of politics against The Sheriff. The Attorney General as much as she wants to help fabricate a prosecution, has ZERO power to do anything. Cannot touch him. Why hasnt FDLE moved in? Because they are afraid of The Sheriff. The investigation was prompted by politics? Why, because two-faced Peaches changed political parties after the 2016 election? Errr, uhhh, is he now a member of the same party as the Governor and AG? Unlike Democrats, Republicans don't tend to eat their own.

The investigation by FDLE and SAO15 was extended because, where there's smoke, there's fire. You might take into account last year's statewide hurricane, which occupied a bit of the Governor's time and resources and now, he's personally involved in the Broward Sheriff's Office continued missteps before, during and after the Parkland shooting.

If anything, Whidden should be sending Sheriff Israel some hog meat, some swamp cabbage and a big thank you card for suddenly becoming the second most incompetent sheriff in the state. But because there's real crime, real issues and a million residents in Broward, sure, HCSO's little misdeeds aren't the top priority in South Florida these days.
