What happened to the Traffic Division of WCSO?

    Huckabee Complaint

Ex-Gov. Mike Huckabee has filed a Bar Complaint against a local activist attorney that knowingly and willingly trespassed on private property, with NO action taken by Mike Adkinson.

Adkinson's lack of enforcement, even when his own agency has an SOP, is appalling and it is going to be interesting to see how and more specifically, where, this issue plays out as the big $$$ donors are not happy.

Spring Break 2020 is just around the corner and WCSO needs to get their stuff together.

One of the main issues in this community involving the beach is ENFORCEMENT.

Mike Adkinson has FAILED at that. He has more excuses for this than Carter has liver pills.

Let's not forget Mike Adkinson's SOP.

    You mean like the following?:

    1. No taxes are paid on beach front properties

    2. Public Property became Private Property due to HB 631

    3. Quiet Title made Public Beach Property Private Property

    4. Walton County Residents have had unlimited use of Private Property from the dune line to the water line against the will of the Private Property Owner for the last 100 years

    5. Since Sherriff Atkinson announced he would not arrest trespassers, that makes it legal to trespass on Private Property in Walton County

    6. Repealing HB 631 will eliminate every CU lawsuit, or the requirement for the BCC to use Due Process to take full and immediate control over Private Property in Walton County against the will of the Property Owner.

    7. It is badgering to ask questions supported by CU advocates that are contradictory to Florida law or information posted on the Walton County web site

    8. If CU does not pass then Residents and Tourists will not be allowed to walk the 26 miles of beach in Walton County, nor will they be allowed to swim, fish, surf, or build sand castles.

    9. The beach crowding problem is caused by greedy beachfront homeowners and not the successful promotional efforts to increase tourists from 1 million per year to 4 million per years in the last decade

    10. And extra bonus statement, asking questions or pointing out CU myths make a person a "drama queen"

This is an interesting statement in theory, it is correct. Wonder how all the folks living on the Bay and surrounding the numerous lakes up North will feel when Tourism and Trespassers come to their "back yards"?

There are multiple docks on the northside of the bay, many near Nick's Restaurant. Do people in Freeport think those are private?

"Gov. Ron DeSantis said Thursday that he is urging local governments and private entities to "strongly consider limiting or postponing mass gatherings." A number of states have instituted outright bans on such gatherings."

If mass gatherings should be prevented to help prevent the spread the coronavirus when is spring break and summer break gatherings and travel by non residents coming into our area only for vacation going to shut down? Now that all the parks are closed/closing, the only place left for all the vacationers traveling to Florida and our area to go is the beaches.

Well Corona Beer Virus will slow this issue as it will be a slow Tourism Season going forward (2020).

As for the virus, please put someone capable of handling the job into position for the local response...

You want to keep me off my beach?

You don't enforce anything to begin with...

    Why start now?

No Social Distancing Enforcement, things are as crazy as they have been in the past years.

Where did all these peeps come from? Good gosh, LA, GA, MS, IL, IN, CA, etc.???

What about the enforcement of the Rental Ban being lifted, WHO, who enforces that?
