I did 5 years with Baltimore City and now I work for a small agency in Maryland. I’ve decided to lateral to Tampa police however I have to do an equivalency training at a college or institute. Does anyone know of a place near Tampa that can offer this? St. Petersburg offers the class for 2 weeks but I don’t have enough leave for that. Lake tech is perfect cause they certifiy you in 1 week however it is too far from Tampa. Are there any closer institutes? Thanks.
