    This has evolved into a significant lawsuit. He totalled the car, then didn't even check in the back to see if the K9 was OK. He injured civilians and they had BPD handle it instead of notifying FHP. He didn't contact SPPD for half an hour (He was not logged on). This is gonna cost the city some money, not as much as the sewage lawsuit, but quite a nice chunk of money.

    This kind of stuff happens all the time. Their manipulation of the scene and their BPD buddies to keep FHP from being notified and no ticket written must have that lawyer grinning a mile wide. That's the part that will sink the case. Considering the coalition involvement, I would hope it goes public. If not, maybe we can help it to. I know a few people ...
