That's right! Because that's never happened here before. Here's an idea. How about you new people keep your ****ing mouths shut? Like we used to do in this business. Pay your dues at your new department regardless of where you came from.

Get use to it working here. You can put years on the job here , but if they hire the right loud mouth aggressive type A personality they like and can deal with, they will move them up quick. Stick with it kid, stick with it. Don't give up, and put a little Vaseline in your butt, you will need it and move on to the next opportunity on the job here for you.

=Unregistered;2862315]Really? You are either very young here, or a liar. We had a chief here who got raises for us almost every year he was here, his name was Longo. PBA liked him big. He also got us the take home cars, tons of equipment, and started TRT. Nobody before Longo tried to get us anything, and Withrow who was just given the job after him did nothing either. Daniel might be good at getting raises for us, but his mentor did it first so give credit where it is due. Fair is fair.[/QUOTE] LOL ****ing Withrow when he was a rookie got caught in the dumpster right by the SunDome looking at porn mags on midnight shift what a ****ing fat puss perv he is was and has been and always will be

Longo? Really? He was about the worst unethical Chief/leader I have ever worked for. He was out for himself and who could serve him on his awards and stats. He didn't care for any worker here that could not advance his aggressive drive to get ahead. He did not give a shit about the average patrol person working here unless it benefitted him in some way. He held so many IA's on people to try to get rid of them, a very unethical leader and out for himself. I wonder where he is working now and how many IA's and people he has tried to ruin and get fired to get ahead in his career. Withrow wasn't worth a crap either from the beginning. He had everything handed to him by the previous Chiefs that set him up to advance on his job. Daniel is one of the better Chiefs this place has had in years and actually cares about the workers here and making sure they have a good involved career and seen that they have gotten decent pay raises. A lot of these post are just unbelievable.

Chris does not give a crap about us, but he knows that if he does not stem the blood-letting of people quitting all the time that it reflects poorly on him, so he throws money at us to stay. If he cared at all about us as officers and human beings he would immediately put an end to the unfettered harassment and micromanagement coming from his staff. He is the only one with the authority to actually do that and this proves that he could care less. Money is not everything, job satisfaction goes a long way. I would rather look forward to coming to work than deal with the ulcers for a few cents more an hour because, in reality, the pay difference does not cover the cost of what I spend on antacids. I mean, who among us does not chew them like candy?

We're up to two supervisors now who are slowly rotting from the inside out due to the constant second guessing and micromanagement.

It's not the dangers from criminals here , it's the scared, out of touch leadership.

    Stress kills
