there would never be a retire or fired memo, it was the continual harassment, just had enough , like pam and others, the purge continues

Lenny with haste put in his retirement memo. It was done due to the constant harassment from Sgt Marshall. He was tired of Marshall berating him and the squad. He was tired of being told they are useless, In a much more nasty tone though. He tried to pull it back but KING VEDPIA REFUSED TO ACCEPT HIS REQUEST. He was in theory forced to leave. Problem is, Pelfrey, vespia, and others will let someone like Estepe stay because he was Hispanic even though he tried to quit 3 times. The fact that we have 15 open positions and we can't fill them is insane. Only looking for Hispanics, blacks, and women. This is sad!

Unfortunately, looking for women that will become "yes" women (like the crime scene supervisor brought in from the outside even with negative comments from past employers).

Well, you would think the idiots in admin would learn from the past. Those of us who remember Ricci, knew he put in his resignation due to his suffering from PTSD,(documented and diagnosed) Vespia refused to accept it, that directly led to an unfounded rape charge and suicide , maybe Vespia should have taken that resignation. He didn't, merely because Ricci spoke fluent Spanish, some excuse. No doubt Vespia and his cronies were behind Lenny's harassment, lets see you have a semi experienced officer who wants to leave and a very experienced officer who wants to rescind his resignation, these admin ahole's just need to go.
    RIP Ricci !!!!!!!!

#25 takes 23 years of experience with him..

I hope this was of his own choosing and not another shove out the door..

    Enjoy your retirement Sir.

I do believe, as of now, Vespia has single-handedly pushed CENTURIES of experience out the door. I hope you are proud of your legacy.
