Former MDPD Off. Gary King shot at home while JP talks about "putting guns down"
Former MDPD Officer Gary King now emploed by Doral was shot outside his home in a robbery attempt yesterday.. Probably by two of the out of control hoodlums who took to the streets on motorbikes a day earlier. While Vanilla Juan enjoys his cafecitos and talks about "putting guns down" our streets are being overrun and not even cops and their families are safe at home anymore. Time for this bleeding heart liberal director to find a new line of work. We need an enforcement plan not a candy distribution center. Shame on you JP.

Papas y Tortillas Stew
It’s funny how all these community groups or politicians haven’t Again addressed the shortage of Police this county has. This was well documented by Commissioner Pepe Diaz not to long ago at a BCC meeting and the Herald. It’s funny how issues of grave concern go away in Dade County But big $$$$ contracts keep coming out to the political donors. They sure have the waste pick ups down pack, I’ve seen ten people contractors and County employees huddled around one tree stump seeing how much $$$$ with be needed to remove and dispose of it, and yet the stump stays there and the crews move on to the other scam stump.
These community groups are oblivious as to how policing in Dade occurs, by taking units from bad areas or other districts to patrol afulent areas that are short staffed that day or as usual. This is how Westchester and other Important areas find themselves so patrolled and secured while others suffer gravely. I am sure that city had plenty of officers on the road when that crime occurred and the subjects were captured? Fat chance the cities can’t even get the policing force they want regardless of how much cash they have because Dades short on cops. Maybe these cities should contract FHP or private security like the Dolphins threatened to do, why no mandates when staffing is short.
But who cares Vanilla Ice gets to sun bathe in the nude and type on his IPad drinking his protein shakes with his buddies.
Que Rico!

Forget about Juan Perez coming up with a plan to curtail crime. He has hopes for for high political office and the black vote is always on his mind. He will turn the blind eye every time.

it is quite shameful that one of our own has paid a price due to the lack of enforcement in our county. Right now, we are so short on manpower
and our administration is only interested in creating community programs instead of attacking crime. We have lost the streets and sadly
enough, soon one of us or more will lose our lives. There is no rehabilitation for hard core criminals. Only hard time will stop them from
praying on our citizens. Unless we change our police culture we will not be able to walk the streets of this county.
