The first order of business for the new PBA was to decimate the legal unit, then bring in a coke head troubled ex-politician with bankruptcy issues and if that wasn’t enough, the president goes out and buys several ghetto SUVs for themselves (yes paid by our dues money), while we drive 5hit cars. They also get a PPVP from the county (don’t know why they need expensive and personal SUVs).
But it gets better because when the county asked for givebacks with health care and no raises, the PBA didn’t ask for a wage increase for us.
Lastly, the county wants the full time releases to cease. Watch, they will sell us out so they don’t have to go back to work. They’ll negotiate something crappy so they can keep their sacred positions. Again we get the shaft

The first order of business is to find out why John is so concerned about having Steve Shiver help the PBA, will he find something that John hoped to hide??

ALL the PBA attorney’s are still at the PBA and very happy. Blanca left the legal department years ago so she could be JOHN’S personal Executive Secretary and personal attorney for BOTH the DCPBA & Florida PBA, bet she is still on the Florida PBA payroll until John’s term is over.

John ALWAYS had a PBA SUV for 25 years AND also got a car allowance from the FL. PBA. At least one of the SUV’s was used to pick up and deliver supplies for events and to drive to Tallahassee instead of buying airline tickets, it was NOT the one with the Iron John tag! The full time release is old news and not even part of negotiations with the PBA.

There is 25 years of documents to find and sort out so everyone knows what John did with & without board approval, since he and HIS attorney Blanca, had their own interpretation of the By-Laws of what needed to be brought to the board. John chose to “walk away” and not speak to the old/new board, he only made it harder for the members, which shows how little he really cared in the end. Unfortunately it will take longer but the members will have more information than they ever received in the past.
