Are you naive enough to think Rivera ever opposed Gimenez? That was pure burlesque theatre with him calling the mayor names. Reality is Rivera, Gimenez and JP are all the same person. They care about themselves not you and me. As long as we have a strong mayor in place we will continue to have black eyes and fat lips. Rivera is gone and good riddance. Now let's see how we can get rid of the other two opportunists.

This is going to get good.
In the meantime the new administration needs to settlle in, get new credit cards, new cars, change over paperwork, etc.
By cutting Pablo, Grey Goose, lunches at Smith and Wollensky, Joe stone crabs and Blanca salary, PBA will be saving more than $500,000 per year. The circus started a decade ago when Fat John promoted her executive mistress to the 3 rd floor. The behavior of those two in public was so embarrassing and the talk of the county behind their back. For the first time in years there will be no 33 in the 3rd floor. Stop talking about Sosa. If you add all the happy hours of the third floor, Fat John owes the county thousands of dollars. I bet you won’t see Stahl and his executive committee flying to Tallahassee anytime soon. Stahl do care about the members monies.

Are you saying Steadman is firing Georgianne? That’s the only 33 that will be gone if he fires her. Not likely since it’s his 33.
You lovely intelligent people keep throwing numbers around but NO ONE can back it up. But here are some facts. Steadman cannot qualify for a credit card because his credit is so bad and he has several home foreclosures. So I’m glad that you somehow believe that an idiot who can’t manage is his own 5hit will be able to run a business or the PBA.
Thank god you don’t get paid for your intelligence for you would be in foreclosure as well. And let’s talk about circus- Steadman felony buddy Steve Bateman would be a bit much, but not his buddy Steve Shiver. Yes that same one who was always under scrutiny, fired several times, bankrupt, had several failed marriages, and rumored to have a drug problem will be a major player in the Stahl administration. I want you to write about those circus acts starting the 29th.
We here at the PBA are ready to go toe to toe with facts.
    Keep it coming.

Good to know that the County pays OT for federal Customs employees @ MIA but is broke when it comes to everyday violence and killings on it’s own streets. SMH

“Other areas of the airport that may be affected, though less likely, are the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) lanes — lines passengers stand in for passport control when traveling abroad.

However, CBP employees are eligible for overtime pay because that department has access to county funds.

“Miami-Dade County is one of the few municipalities in the U.S. authorized to reimburse CBP for overtime hours during peak times and when CBP funding is not available to do so,” Chin said, noting that the annual budget is $1.2 million.”

If you all think we will get something more than other unions you are dreamers. Whatever Gimenez decides to give us, whenever he decides is what we will get.
