Looks like the correct answer to me, Einstein.
What were you looking for? "The cavalry is coming with 500 troopers and a 300% pay raise to save us"?

It impossible without some FHP flogger trying to shut down any discussion by telling people "If you don't like it here, leave!"
FHP brass employs floggers to attack anyone who dare bring up current issues with childish insults, in hopes of quieting the truth.
As you notice on this forum, there are rude posters that show little interest in discussing issues and only seek to demean people and would change the topic very quickly before it gets out of hand.
For example, they kept trying to end discussion on an ongoing thread about troopers leaving Pensacola.
Inb4 someone tells me "who cares" or "if you don't like it, leave!".

The vacancies FHP has won't be filled because no one wants a job with a low salary.
FHP has to fix the low salary. It will fix the retention and the recruitment issue.
If they won't fix the pay, another proposal would to disband FHP but the sheriffs would suffer because they won't be handle working ALL the crashes in their counties. Scott tried to back in 2011, sheriffs threw a fit and begged him to let FHP exist.
