There’s nothing wrong with Troopers living in trailers. You’re not going to be rich in law enforcement. If all you can afford is a trailer, then so be it. Decorate that trailer, make it your home, keep it clean, have friends / family over. Put Christmas lights on it. Take pride in it. It’s YOUR trailer. Be thankful you have that trailer and you’re not living out on the streets. I’ll tell you this, there are some Troopers in the Keys who are living out of their personal vehicles. It’s sad, but true.

This is the most embarrassing attempt in justifying FHP's low pay. FHP should update their beatrooper website with pictures of troopers living in troopers and on welfare.
