    Back in the Day

    At 11:55 PM we used to seek cover from shots fired at the Laundromat at NW 5 th St. and Krome, gunfire lasted from midnight till about 10 after, no proactive patrol for those 10 mins. just trying to find cover, wonder where the hiding spots are this evening ??

    Homestead Hospital known as James Archer back in the day was a good place to be when the gunfire erupted which was usually about 11:55 t0 12:15 am

    Dispatcher Judy Alden

    Just received news that former Dispatcher Judy Alden past away .She dispatched for HPD from around 1971 t to 1982
    Back then Dispatchers answered the phone , ran subjects and dispatched. May she rest in Peace

    I failed to mention Judy then went to Coral Gables PD and retired in 1992
