There are 6 cve troopers working but they are no help for the road troopers.

That's because these positions came to the patrol with an entire job function already attached to them. Contrary to popular belief, they weren't put her to aid the road. Their job is to enforce the state and federal governments commerical vehicle laws and regulations. PERIOD! The do federal inspections, hazmat and weights/dimensions for the state. FHP has gotten their hand slapped numerous times already for dipping into the federal money pot or using the resources (Vehicles, officers, equipment, etc.)

Why not just transfer the CVE duty back to FDOT?

The only reason that it didnt go through was the Sheriffs who were in charge and the majority of the committee did not want it to go through..

They also didn't want to work ALL the crashes in their county. That's why sheriff's come up with BS policy that they won't work crashes in their county and want the FHP pick their slack.

Well since if the SO's worked all the crashes then there would no need for FHP. Plus most SO's are way too busy to deal with over with sig 4's. Thats why the SO's use FHP for free! Really whos the idiot here?

Geez you troopers are so cleaver!! It must be the high GED standards you guys enforce. But I have to give it to the poster at least it was in English. That's a language that seems to elude many troopers these days. So congrats and that challange.
