    A nice Christmas gift

You all can run this Department down and say we are not true cops, but the Chief has bent over backwards for us. He has given the green light to work on and off campus in all enforcement activities, which was not allowed not too many years ago. He has worked hard to get us great pay raises in an economy where lot of people working have not seen any pay raises on their salary in years. No Chief in the history of this department has done this ever for us. This last big raise is a big surprise, and a huge Christmas bonus to all of us. Please be happy about your career here and realize how lucky you are to be working here. There are people waiting in line to have the job you have. Merry Christmas to all of you.

USF PD starting salary raised from $42K to $49K, and a $7K salary raise given across the board to employees. There will still be people talking crap on here, but there is little need to. This Chief has really taken care of the employees here salary wise which you will not see in other Dept.'s or even the business world.

It doesn't take effect on our paychecks until the 12/29 paycheck, so the information you are reading is not updated yet.

I guess you didn't get the letter from Chief Daniel. So you wouldn't know anything about it.

It is just blood money, literally, for the grief and frustration the admin gives you. While an easy job, they make it much more difficult and frustrating. I suppose they want everyone to have tarry stools from the ulcers!

You are a lot wiser than the original poster. Hope you had a good Christmas.

"Be grateful for what is rightfully yours." Decent pay and working conditions. Giving the be thankful or else line. "Original poster"
Does he shine the chief's shoes?
