After last weeks meeting, it is clear to me that the PBA withheld information in an earlier meeting relating to a possible merger with BSO. Crystal clear Marano is not giving us the correct information for the good of our agency but for his personal gain from our dues. He is more worried about foreclosure than what is in our best interests .

Some of us have been saying that for years. Now that we have some information to make a reasonably sound decision. I feel that it would be to,our best interest to move forward to the resolution of merging with BSO. We should bring our collective wishes to the Mayor so that we all can move towards some closure. The City will benefit tremendously with the merger of both police and fire, and the members of both can relax their worries and stress regarding pension issues, health insurance, and many other issues. Please, let us stand United and stop spinning our wheels on this. We are getting no where this way, and shows a sign of chaos. The residents of Hallandale don't deserve this.

The city needs to get their act together and formally ask BSO for a proposal then.
