Much respect to folks guy calling people who cry about the agency to leave, however FHP is not Camelot and it has problems that need to be recognized. The radio is definitely a problem.
Wasn't there a major's spot pulled out of thin air and wasn't advertised for a Jacksonville Capt to be in charge of and over see our communications? Why can't we all get one of those positions?

    Re

We have many dead spots in Lee County and not just on the portables. We spend all day on X33 traffic because nobody can communicate.

The only dead spot in Lee County is between your ears. If you don't like it, you can go back to making french fries and burgers with your old buddies in Lehigh. Your communications there worked flawlessly: "Please pull up to the first window sir"

Right! See that is the idiot reponse you get from someone in Troop F. The real dead spot is in that Captain’s office out there. Everybody know FHP communications are behind. What heck does that have to do with making fries you retard.

Point exactly. McDonalds and their $9/hour employees have better working equipment than this state agency and our $10/hour employees. And their lives aren’t in danger. Radios suck a$$.

But your problem, crybaby, is that you qualified as a trooper for FHP, but you can’t qualify to be a fry cook for McDonalds. If you’re making $10/hour, you’re clearly overpaid.

Tallahassee doesn't care about the road trooper, only specialty troopers and they don't need radios only their extra $2000!
