Men without balls who will answer yes to any query from their boss/superior regardless of the question's intelligence, bearing, or appropriateness. It is usually intended to farther the yes man's carreer by getting and staying on the boss's good side, but may have the opposite effect.

Yes men often ruin the productivity or usefulness in the department they work in, as they are unwilling to provide any form of original idea, opinion or more importantly criticism to their boss and thus contribute to disconnect between managers and workers.

DAn Gloates doesn’t need a Command Staff. He knows more about police work in Miami Beach than all the retired Chiefs combined. Just ask him. He will tell you this too.

But the reality of it is that he is the worst Chief Ever. Disliked not only by his Officers, but his fellow chiefs as well. An arrogant, out of touch Goober that has no clue what he is doing.

It’s amazing how many opinionated bafoons we have who waste energy expounding excrement on this forum about things they are truly clueless about. Maybe if the three of you who actually post on here annonymously, put forth some effort at making things better, (if they really are that bad) as you do on this site, your “morale” would improve. Instead you jealously cry about the Command Staff, as if what they do actually affects you day to day.

In the mean time, you’ll continue to be the whiners you truly are...complaining about working in a city with no “rough areas” making twice as much as other cops working in Overtown, Liberty City etc. Keep feeing sorry for yourselves and blame other people for your misery...the reality as to the source of your problems is staring at you in the mirror.
