You got that right. Just imagine if Diaz didn't resign. She would have probably taken Norwood's spot or even made LT.

Maybe if the administration would promote individuals that have the skills to be an asset to other agencies instead of cowards who can only be employed by HCSO they would stay and make HCSO a reputable agency.

Cowards, Hipocrits, and Haters
Before we start let's go over some definitions:
Coward- a person who lacks the courage to do or endure unpleasant or dangerous things.
Hate- feel intense or passionate dislike for someone
Hypocrisy- the practice of claiming to have moral standards or belief which one's own behavior does not conform to
Now that we've gotten that out of the way the fact that everyone hides behind this message board running your mouths about everyone who is was and will be employed with the HCSO is the true definition of coward. A person to scared to reveal his identity but loves to talk like he is a true man. You say you no longer work for HCSO but if that were true it means you have no life you're so interested in the politics and workings of the HCSO. You say you have a family but they must be miserable if all you do is worry about what occurs at a place that you no longer work at.
Perhaps you still do work at HCSO and maybe because you got passed over for a promotion you're upset. It's ok I guess you have your little message board to run your mouth instead of actually going out and showing you want a promotion. The sad part ok Norwood is a coward I get that but so are you.
That brings me to my next definition hipocrisy because you sit here and call someone a coward and then you act the same way he does which makes you a hipocrit.
Finally my last definition of hate... because you never made SGT or maybe you were one and got fired who knows but you're hating and well haters gonna hate... and cowards will never be brave

Skills and experience have truly nothing to do with it in any Sheriffs Office or elected head agency. It is about politics and the sheer fact of whether you work for an ethical and moral agency head. In Hendry Countys case they are immoral and unethical. Perhaps criminal. So when you have someone who will without questions perform an action without first analyzing whether or not it's legal as well as the other tests, just simply by the word alone, they are very desirable to promote. One post earlier already chimed that he was in fact loyal. Definitive loyalty to another without any scruples, ethics, morals or legalities spells enormous liability and danger.
The simple reminder here is like earlier supervisor casualties, this too will blow up. Bottom line is that the Sheriff is the responsible party period. Even ol Kevin is banking on that alibi.
And the county taxpayers are footing the legal fees and damage awards for every single one of them.
Keep writing those checks.

Everyone in the department knows how it works, its all on who your willing to blow and how far are you willing to defend, lie, cheat, and steal for 101.101 wants followers not leaders because the leaders will out lead him without even trying, nothing in the department is given for free,he paid a price or favor.Norwood isn't a bad kid but he's in over his head,he's nowhere near ready for his new position,he was punished by 101 and was sent to montura for screwing up to get him away
from the clean street sent to the hole of HC and now he's a sgt.
