HPOA President and Board plays dirty...

So HPOA President sends out an agenda of their monthly meeting to vote for a new board member and doesn't put in the agenda that they were also going to vote to endorse Rivera and his crew....

Jaramillo contacted all the retirees and past presidents to attend yesterday's HPOA meeting with the help of his staff. Except for two past presidents and several board members that he knew would not support him. He asked one of the retirees to put a motion on the floor to endorse Rivera.....

So they did they put in a motion for the endorsement and all voted to endorse Rivera. This after an email was sent out that the board was not going to endorse Rivera.
If jaramillo would of put this in the agenda PAYING active members would of showed up and voted against it, instead he quietly contacted all the retirees to show up to receive the exact amount of votes needed for the endorsement.

Of course the retirees are going to vote.....they are no longer paying members and it's not their money. All they care about is the time they are allowed to play dominoes during the week at the HPOA and the free food....

Jaramillo and the board continue to play dirty.....
I wonder how much of the members money is going to be used for the endorsement....

This is corruption at its best....

    No wonder Valdez left.....

Well the email is out from President Jaramillo.
Since when does the HPOA attorney show up to a meeting, unless he's requested.

Now I do believe that all this was planned by Jaramillo and the board...

    Very dirty Mr President.....

Why weren't the members notified that this was on the agenda....

Why were there so many people there when I normally get a small crowd.....

Members need to drop the HPOA
    Hit them were it hurts....
Without the members money there is no HPOA.....

Hell the members money is being used for the wrong reasons .....

Retirees DO NOT vote...it’s only active members and Life Members that have a voice....

HPOA is being taken over by John and his “TEAM” he must need a new source of cash flow... soon John, Blanca, Pablo, Fuste , Stephanie and Nicki will all be on HPOA payroll... Nicki is their new permanent bartender!! What does HPOA have to gain by endorsing anyone- is John so desparate keep control, that he will divide another organization the way he has divided the PBA.

Of course the retirees support endorsing John they heard he hires retirees and pay them big money, give car allowances and credit cards to by breakfast lunch and dinner... they figured they can now get hired by the PBA or HPOA.

Of course Jaramillo planned this all along. He never announced it was a meeting for in fact to endorse Rivera. If he would have, he would have had a revolt.

You just lost my membership. This HPOA is a joke and liars.

So you had 10 maybe 15 people on this very important matter David and choose not to tell ALL your members about this vote. Or at least have us all vote on this issue?

You are a joke! A thief and a liar.

    I’m out.

Why wasn’t anything posted on the HPOA Facebook page about the meeting... were any other candidates given an opportunity to speak with the HPOA? None of the others would put the HPOA in this position, except Pablo, his endorsement will be next.

This has JOHN RIVERA written all over it, this is exactly how he does business at the PBA. For someone who was once respected, to this, breaking up an organization. For what, an endorsement that will do NOTHING to help the organization, what a sad way to go out John.

It was not a retired member who made a motion to the board to endorse John Rivera. It was an active member. Any member can bring up a motion during a meeting. I was there for the meeting for the purpose of expressing my displeasure for them not endorsing John Rivera. I would have made the motion myself if it would not have been made by the other non retired member. The email about the monthly meeting was sent to everyone's work and personal email. All the other candidates running for president could have attended if they wished yesterday.
