Not with the program, insubordinate , and not loyal. Biggest crock I've ever heard. You are right about getting what they deserve, higher paying jobs, with better benefits.

I haven't seen anyone ask for a promotion on here. To add to the above poster though other than pay and benefits I would say the biggest thing everyone deserves is command staff that is professional and treats their employees fairly.

Ever think one thing "command staff" "deserves" is a line thats trainable trustworthy and not liability prone. No idea "what" you are other than ignorant and underperforming in whatever position you currently suck a paycheck out of no doubt. miserable malcontents "we deserve" "we want". Imagine having dozens of sometimes toilet trained children all playing outside, they will inevitably shit somewhere they shouldnt and someone has to clean up. Got it? Act professional just because not everything is just handed to you the first response is to attack criticize and cry. Support the Sheriff with your either your soul and stay or your feet and walk. 3 years on the road and everyone wants stripes bars titles money special treatment. Come back when you can measure your service in decades like the command staff everyone love to criticize.

It's never the leadership when the same patterns keep re-emerging.

When the leadership has a rotating crop of barely hireables. Its not the farmer its the poor quality seeds. Same patterns?

The department is about exhausted of promotion worthy staff. Anyone who is worthy of promotion above Sergeant has been, how else can you recognize loyalty and ability - through promotion of worthy members. And of course theres those who will be bitter.

Who was that lone officer? It wasn't the sheriff, the chief, or even the PIO in charge of the Explorer Post even though they were invited. But hey it's understandable, right? Punta Gorda is a long drive and who wants to take a couple hours out of their Sunday afternoon? Perhaps if the media was invited they would have been there, Appearance is everything, public opinion matters, No one to impress there and no cameras, darn.

Don't worry though the family did receive the support of several ex-employees (the so called traders were the only ones with the honor to uphold the blue line)
Ok you opened the door since you have no problem calling out identfying the Sheriff, the Chief and the PIO specifically for not living up to your standard you shouldnt have any problem recognizing by name who had "the honor to uphold the blue line".

Since they do not hold the current offices and titles that the doofuss clan holds it is irrelevant.

But nice try... Oh and by the way... Good luck on the IA's aka witch hunts. . Pathetic, unprofessional, inexperienced actions.

You still haven't learned a damn thing since the start that has benefitted the agency and troops as a whole. Entitled little piss ants.

Weak excuse. Love how people have no problem dropping names but when barely challenged begin backing up "Uh, I cant" "it is irrelevant" Calling out the Sheriff Chief and PIO individualy was "relevant" because they "didnt have honor of the blue line" or whatever but it was totally acceptable to keep the one "honorable" "current employee" anonymous in their attack against the Sheriff for not sendning an Honor guard and wtf knows what else would have made it "honorable" to the complainer. Was the "passing" duty related? How many years separated from agency? Come back to reality, even if you cant deal with it.
