Alpha/Bravo
Today we were told Alpha/Bravo would continue throughout the month, then possibly into next month. So all 208 is cancelled indefinitely.

Just shows that an FHP salary in Miami is impossible to live on unless you live at your parents house. Miami troopers depend on 208 because the crap pay that FHP offers.
All prospective applicants from Miami and Broward take notice.

If all the OT from alpha/bravo doesn't offset your 208 you a living way beyond your means.. and that's coming from a Miami trooper NOT living with mommy.

Let's just say you make ... 400 extra a week con la pinga esta.. papo that's not even one night at a site comiendo mierda

By virtue of working for FHP and being assigned anywhere south of about Gainesville area, you are already living beyond your means. That old cliche doesn't apply anymore.
The salary doesn't support the cost of single income living in most populated areas of the state. Damn sure doesn't in Miami.
We shouldn't have to work 12 hour days, 30 days a month to have a decent income. Shouldn't have to work all the 208 we work either.
