Today we were told Alpha/Bravo would continue throughout the month, then possibly into next month. So all 208 is cancelled indefinitely.

Just shows that an FHP salary in Miami is impossible to live on unless you live at your parents house. Miami troopers depend on 208 because the crap pay that FHP offers.

If you're working 12 hours a day, minimum with no days off... how are you only getting $400 a week??? Alpha/bravo brings in a extra 1,300 a week, minimum! Do the math. Even after taxes, if that's not enough, you're living way beyond your means.

By virtue of working for FHP and being assigned anywhere south of about Gainesville area, you are already living beyond your means. That old cliche doesn't apply anymore.

The salary doesn't support the cost of single income living in most populated areas of the state. Damn sure doesn't in Miami.

We shouldn't have to work 12 hour days, 30 days a month to have a decent income. Shouldn't have to work all the 208 we work either.
