How could having dirt on your 101 line someone up to be the next 101. He gets removed it not like he can write a reccomendation letter for his successor. Half the posts on here are absurd predicting federal charges. Theres no US Attorney involved anyone knows of, its SAO, therefore its state charges and if - IF - found guilty and IF sentenced to prison it will be DOC. Theres a few "IFs" here.

Working for another agency but living in the county where I pay property taxes I feel for you having to live under this cloud, hope it all works out for the better reputation. I thought about applying years ago but thought the better of it. Some allright people on the road Id see around town and of course during campaign season. Bad people around him and I can say it since Im a resident and my family lives and owns property here, so Im writing this as a taxpayer but with the perspective of an LEO. Godspeed folks.

Garcia seems to be a good man.He might not have all the bells and whistles that everyone wants but his heart seems to be in the right place. Many people speaks good things about him as being very caring and helpful towards people. Were seeing the same thing with President Trump,he's not a professional politician but his heart is in the right place and pushing to do whats best for Americans, the way I see it he can't be no worse than mr.whidden.

Garcia is a good man, but that does not qualify him in the slightest to be Sheriff. Because "his heart seems to be in the right place", is a great line for Sunday church dinner campaignin' - he has nothing in his background which would remotely qualify him to be in charge of 150+/- people and manage a budget. At least nothing he has made known in his past (failed) campaign attempts seems to qualify him.

Every - every - hopeful who is lacking in expereince right away drops the line "I will hire the best qualified people for the job".

His only "qualification" is through his father to finance a campaign, and with that advantage, he couldnt touch Steve. So with the advantage of money he lost - thats like not being to get laid in a whorehouse with a stack of 20 dollar bills.

What has he done since his last failure? Worked for the family business? Everyone has to work. What has he done to better qualify himself personally in between losing campaigns?

May not have bells and whistles "everyone" wants? Like ability and education? "Everyone", who has any common sense?

The best thing would be the governor appoint a FDLE agent for a full 4 year term someone who has zero "people" in the community. If 101 is removed, theres going to a free for all of mostly unqualified "candidates" for the office.

Relatin' to people and just bein' a home town boy (go back to the cloying Caloosa Belle articles about 101 right after his first win. Try not to vomit knowing what is now know. You'd swear Andy Griffin just got elected..)

All the typical promises and oaths with the right buzz words "fair" "honest" "integrity" "professional"

Hopefully in a few months the main members of the fabulous four will be scrubbing floors in DOC.

Where do you and every other loser here get off "who the next Sheriff"? Our Sheriff isnt going nywhere, except to a 4th term. The state (got no legs) investigation is going to go away at the end of the month like your periods where you all cry moan and piss.

Actually no. There are various news agencies poised for the exact scenario of it going away. They already have plans in place to make sure this stays alive. You don't piss off the media and expect them to accept it..

No they can't let it drop because in this area of politics, the upper level will not cover for SHEM and and the pressure of the questions is here

w.t.f. are you trying to explain? "The upper level", who t.f is "the upper level". WTF is "pressure of the questions". That fine rambling post is typical of a block of voters who sit in their trailer all day and watch YouTube "news". Do us all a favor, run your generators indoors next storm, make certain the fam is with you, God F-ing forbid the likes of you reproduces in any form. The media? You speak for them "they already have plans in place to keep this alive" - the worst thing alive is why you werent scraped from your mother instead of pushed out - still you could have been wrapped in plastic and dropped into a well. Its not too late. Here is a reality check, in a week or whenever the BS political witchhunt FDLE "investigation" finally dies its own death, some of you losers will have nothing to do. Whidden 2020,2024 and beyond.

The best choice is internal DH

How many administrations has he served in as a Captain? Lead CID numerous times. Trainer of trainers not just "trained"

Marine. Leader. Then his overseas contract work. and some FDLE weasel or desk riding retired major from another department some idiots are hoping for. If thats the case you all are proving the saying "hoping for the best but prepare for the worst" Some outsider coming in is going to make h-e-l-l for everyone, theres been enough of that. Enough talk of who should might or could be - unless its DH dont want to listen.

Whidden 2020? 2024? Sounds like two plea offers. 3 years on plea agreement or 7 years found guilty by jury trial.
