An armed Antifa group is launching a new cell in Philadelphia. The group currently hosts anti-police workshops called “Our Enemies in Blue.” Antifa has websites promoting the group, which calls itself the Revolutionary Abolitionist Movement. Websites include:

• It’s Going Down
• Sub.Media
• Insurrection News

The group released its press release in alt.left media, filled with hyperbolic claims about how:

• "Mosques are being ruthlessly bombed” and
• “LGBTQ are being battered”
• “The destruction of black life continues unabated, as millions languish in the plantations of the modern day slave system.”
• Etc.

'It's going down' (an 'antifa' website) is selling buttons and t-shirts with pictures of claw hammers and the words "Hospitalize your local fascist".

Another pic shows a hammer hitting Donald Trump's head. And there's one with a gasoline bomb 'molotov kocktail' with the words 'It's lit'.

If they are going to go at political opponents with hammers, hoping to cause skull fractures, they had better not try it in a concealed (or open) carry state. Some of the dressed-in-black shitheads might get put down (along with whoever is standing behind them).

Is this the first you've heard of Antifa? (I'm asking inquisitively, not derisively). The mainstream press hasn't given them much attention, but their presence is well known on social media. EVERYTHING they do is confrontational and outright violent. It's not just their rhetoric, it's what they do. They regularly gather together clad from head to toe in black, wearing ski masks and carrying weapons, screaming obscenities and threats, causing major property damage and starting physical conflicts. They turn peaceful protests and demonstrations into dangerous warzones complete with (so far) everything but guns and bombs. I hope it doesn't come to this, but I can't help but to think that...

I haven't seen any skinheads attacking people on public streets, throwing urine bottles at police, stabbing police horses, and destroying property in the US lately.

Besides being (1) avowed members of a group (2) that advocates both violence and the overthrow of the government (both are automatic disqualifiers for gun ownership), every Antifa member I've seen who's been arrested already has a lengthy criminal record. Again, automatic disqualification for gun ownership.

Who would you rather have move-in next door to you, an NRA member or an Antifa member?

It's like blaming blacks for Ku Klux Klan violence several generations ago. After all, if blacks weren't present, then racist violence targeting them wouldn't have been necessary.

It's just axiomatically assumed, an unstated given, that antifa will be permitted by the authorities to do their thing as the left's enforcers, the muscle of the "resistance". Ordering police to arrest and/or forceably disperse the black-clad thugs, today's functional equivalent of Hitler's Sturmabteilung (SA) is clearly not even being contemplated.

An African American Missouri state senator (Democrat) named Maria Chappelle-Nadal wrote in a Facebook post: “I hope Trump is assassinated!” She made the comment to a left-wing activist.

When asked by a reporter if she plans to resign, Chapelle-Nadal said, “Hell no!”

The U.S. Secret Service is looking into Chappelle-Nadal’s post.
