    CNN and the PBA

It appears that the PBAers have learned a lot this year by watching CNN's coverage of politics.
When dealing with the opposition, create fake news, lie and defame them as much as possible. Cause in fighting amongst them.
An FOP member gets appointed to the State FOP in a very powerful position and he is attacked in a forum where the posters (PBA loyalist and a turn coat) are not accountable for the lies they spread. Much like a CNN reporter saying they received info from a "anonymous source".
Did you forget that people of this Country (or this PD)are not as dumb as you think?
When the votes where counted, the left still lost! And they are still crying about it, just like when the votes where counted for the FOP and the PBA lost, and still crying about it.
A few sheep fell for it, but the numbers are still solid for FOP. But that's not what they will say. Why would they, they're CNN.

    The FOP

The FOP hung Rey out to dry. Case closed. When he wins his fight and he will, we'll see what a judicial binding opinion has to say about the whole conspiracy. Furthermore and let's not ever forget, without a doubt, and nothing more to say, the right is a bunch of closed minded fat boys. The circuit court motion to speed up the process for rey is almost filed. Once the labor board rules that he must be allowed to proceed with an appeal, he'll get the city into arbitration and win. The city will try to settle prior to arbitration and rey will say no way. He then will sue the city and FOP for conspiring together to violate his rights to due process. The chief and Brian will be singled out as individuals and suffer personal loss because they knew or should've known that their actions were unconstitutional. You know guys the souvriegn immunity thing. The PBA apparently fought the FOP in simular fashion for Sajdak and mcvay. I believe the grand total of back pay legal plus raises to the LTs was over 1 million $$$. The city had to repay legal fees, and much other stuff. In addition to that the bulk of the lodge has joined the PBA so that says a lot right there. As far as jimmy goes, who ****ing cares. He never did anything good anyway.

Silent farts stink the worse. And if you wrote police reports as well as you write on here you'd be officer of the day everyday.

Rey's case is contractual not disciplinary. Huge difference.

    Not!

Cause for demotion was issued. An ugly ultimatum was given. Not one evaluation or prior discipline issued. He got written up then written up again for the same thing. He's going to win. It's not anything other than Jenkins helping Carlos do dirty work. But, at the center is the snake as usual.

The contract in place at that time gave the Chief the right to appoint and unappoint a Corporal with at will. What he did was within the contract. And it was the right move.
We know it was the snake, he's responsible for everything including the recent race wars, North Korea and Global Warming.

    Rey's Case

The mere fact that cause for demotion was given makes this discipline not only a reassignment. Rey did not violate the regulations. He made a notification. He called sgt Pete. Pete didn't make any calls either. Wassup peoples are you seeing the dirtyness?

Let’s review the FOP greatness as it has represented the officers of this Department recently.

Joey P. was removed from the FOP for representing the NBV Police Officers because he was too aggressive with the facts and yelled (?) at the City Manager and Police Chief. Even he had had it with the way things were going. So he was replaced with someone more agreeable with the City. Someone who would work with a City that demanded the Union follow and do what the City recommended or be replaced.

A prior writer states “An FOP member gets appointed to the State FOP in a very powerful position”, yes, unfortunately this appointed person is friendlier with the City Manager and Police Chief then he is with the Officers in his own Union, the Union he is supposed to represent and is head of.

Case in point, the “Take Home Vehicle Program”. For over a year now it has been violated. Certain numerous officers are allowed to take vehicles home they are not entitled to. I’m not against them using the vehicles, just that the Union Contract and Police Policy (s) are being ignored to the advantage of a few favorites and disadvantage to those junior officers. If you are not going to follow the Rules, then change them. Don’t violate them by playing favorites as you slight others. Where is the FOP on this? Nowhere around.

Another case in point is off duty jobs within the City. That Policy has also been ignored numerous times in the past. If the City Manager says no police needed then no police are needed, screw the Union Contract and City Ordinances. Where is the FOP?

Example, the construction site on S. Treasure Drive, it is supposed to have an off duty officer, but that isn’t happening. Not now and probably not in the future. There is a debate going on about that between the City, Police Chief and the FOP. Why is there a debate? Why is the Police Contract being ignored and the City Ordinances violated? Where is the FOP?

Lately many Officers are complaining that they are being forced to adjust their hours to avoid overtime when they are ordered to attend training etc. The FOP Union is well aware of this Federal violation yet the Union chooses to repeatedly ignore the incidents.

Think about it, work 8 hrs. O.T. and that is 12 hrs. straight time. Being forced to adjust your time cheats you out of 4 hrs. straight time, or approximately $160. I know the current FOP President is aware of this due to the officers telling him. Plainly he is not going to correct this injustice, he saw what happened to the prior President and it’s not happening to him.

Then there is Rey Rey, the prior FOP President. What’s his view on FOP representation and solidarity? Pretty pathetic I would think, especially when the Union won’t represent a past President and current member of their FOP Local. He’s only out of pocket about $10,000 due to the FOP “NOT!!!” representing him in his demotion from Corporal.

I am sure this demotion is just a mix up due to an ”FOP member gets appointed to the State FOP in a very powerful position” and he is a little more friendly to the City Manager and the Police Chief then a Union member Cop and past President who has been wronged.

How about the sewer project that has been obstructing traffic in our City for a number of months now? How come no off duty jobs? Does this job require an Officer? The Manager says no, so no off duty job, that simple. Why does the Manager say no? Because then the City would have to pay the Company they hired to perform the work more money in order to hire the Officers. Union Contract and City Ordinances be damned, the Manager says “NO COPS!” so NO COPS! Where is the FOP on this? Why “they’re talking” with their real friends who don’t pay Union Dues. If together they can’t find a way to get around those silly City Ordinances and that lousy FOP Contract, no one can. Let’s all just agree to ignore them (Contract etc.), see, problem solved, or we can talk about it until the construction is complete. Problem solved again.

If you or I did any of the above we would be fired.

How is this article for ”Fake News” now? Who really works for CNN or should I say “The City”?

When the votes were counted on the last contract, those that voted “no” did lose, but not as much as those who voted “yes”.

    Where is the FOP?

Remember the above and prior post “The silent stay strong, in this Country and this Union”.

I don’t feel strong but I am staying silent, I don’t want to end up like Rey Rey.
