Kurt Hoffman is the one who developed the above illegal strategy, but it was Knight who claimed political and legal ownership of it. Then Pat Duggan was put in the very embarrassing situation of trying to defend an illegal argument to the court.

Knight has now officially made MORE political enemies of people who previously supported him, to include making an enemy of Karen Rushing, among many other high profile and respected politicians.

The SSO circus act needs to stop and the SSO ringmaster needs to be booted out of the act, to include booting the legal clown who proposed the "compelling [illegal] argument" (aka Kurt Hoffman).
What a load of Bullshit. Go away Troll. Your credibility is ZERO.

Yes, that is correct. Plans are in place to immediately reinstate courthouse security positions that Knight previously abandoned.

That depends exclusively on when the official court decision is officially rendered.

Journalism can never be silent: that is its greatest virtue and its greatest fault. It must speak, and speak immediately, while the echoes of wonder, the claims of triumph and the signs of horror are still in the air.

Hmmm, I wonder if this is the preface to the 2nd DCA decision, says a troll (1 of many)

Face it: Knight stirred up a political and legal hornets nest when he attempted to circumvent the law with Kurt Hoffman’s asinine re-interpretation of the law. And then Senator Steube was unable to save Knight’s legal ass by “changing the law for him.” And since Hoffman’s illegal re-interpretation of the law makes Knight look like an idiot, it will be interesting to see if Hoffman’s experiences anything adverse from Knight. Knight has pitted himself against all the judges in Florida. That’s crazy. It’s bonifide certified crazy. This whole mess is disgusting. Anyway, to answer your question, yes, this is a prelude to what’s coming, which is why Knight ordered courthouse supervisors to be prepared to OBEY the chief judge’s court order to reinstate SSO security checkpoints in specifically designated areas.

Oh and for anyone who never goes downtown: Knight has pulled ALL armed deputies from the first floor of 2071 Ringling BL. Any armed felon is now free to enter floors 1-4 via the elevators to shoot, kill or maim unarmed criminal justice personnel. However, after Knight is FORCED to obey the court order, then security will be reinstated. Hopefully no nutcase will go and shoot-up the SAO on the third floor or the SSO records section on the first floor.

It’s very unfortunate that it’s taking a court order to force Knight to stop his madness.

Steube's courthouse proposal FAILED on Dec. 6 (last week):

    Here's a copy-and-paste of part of Steube's failed proposal:

    • An administrative order in conflict with the [newly proposed definition] for “courthouse” is preempted to the Legislature.
      .
    • The judge that enacts an administrative order that is preempted is subject to removal from office and civil fines.

    Senate source:
    http://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill...nt/117468/HTML

That's why Knight told SSO courthouse supervisors (last week) to be prepared to start enforcing the chief judge's administrative order. However, it won't be enforced until the 2nd DCA officially rules against Knight. NFI
