North Port Officers that have been arrested

We are putting together a story on any members of the North Port Police Department Command Staff that have had prior arrest, IA Investigations from other agencies and documented marital affairs (key word is documented). The arrest can be either as an adult or Juvenile. I am looking for sources that can lead me to the proper documentation. Maybe job applications, criminal history checks or the polygraph results. I am sure there are IA cases that have been buried, which will make it hard for us to find. To be clear this is for command staff / mid level management only. If you want the public to know how many officers in charge have criminal histories, questionable behavior in uniform and what they are being paid by the taxpayers. You can provide links or documents you have access to. Thank you for your service.

    Not an Arrest but ..

He began his career with a betrayal of his marriage with another officer. After her husband found out, he cut off her access to his credit card, until unknown man called the bank then the party was on till the complaint, criminal investigation and subsequently slithered outta Charlotte County to NPPD. DRC.

That was then.. but things havent changed much,, he still skirts the rules, policy and law for his own personal benefit, sacrificing any who might dare call him on it.. DRC.

A newly promoted Sergeant and head of training prior to hire several counts issuing bad checks and misdemeanor traffic speed arrests.
A commander who was previously with the Sheriffs office, DWI and speeding when he was in his 20s and felony trespass with a firearm when he was 17. All documented

The PD has a commander with a prior DUI and felony trespass with a firearm? Sounds like a stand up guy. I'm sure he's a stand up commander too.

left the SCSO with short notice under extremely suspicious circumstances with 16 yrs on the job, waited a year and came to NPPD and a year later is made commander, suspicious enough !!!!! One year on the job in NP and jumped three grades in rank.
    Backstabbing POS

Well clearly Uebelacker convinced him to join the NPPD and promised him big things. And clearly those two have individually proven they are snakes. The funny part is, that at one point not too long ago, I bet they thought they would own this place one day, and now Uebelacker/Rose are gone and there is one left. Must be a lonely feeling. How did he leave the SCSO under suspicious circumstances?

This is funny....I have heard him tell the stories several times. I don't think he is trying to hide anything.
-- Hog Hunting 30 years ago
--Drunk in the Marine Corp 26 years ago (hahah that story is the best ask him to tell it)
--and a speeding ticket the last day in the Military going home

So, he is a country boy, a Marine and wanting to get home.

    NICE..........

funny, the paperwork says different, him and his friends went onto private property TARGET shooting and when confronted by the owner gave him a hard time, hmmmm no mention of any hogs, don't know of any marine bases in Jacksonville ??????? who cares what his excuses are, he did it, in addition while in Ft Myers academy, there is an evaluation which states low probability of hire due to previous substance abuse. In regards to the suspicious exit from SCSO. Sergeant on the tac team, world by the b@lls, 16 1/2 years on the job in a dept that is far better than NPPD and suddenly gives two weeks notice, grabs his retirement and runs, hmmmm. Do not be fooled, will sell you down the tubes in a heartbeat. PS he is from Port Charlotte.

Wow are we fishing to smear the command staff. Let's talk about what's really wrong with our department. Command staff being fired for giving an opinion that the captain and chief do not want to hear! FDLE command staff leaving because the department is unstructered with Sgts jumping chain of command. Sgts make complainants on command staff because there buddy was punished for his k-9 making questionable bites on citizens ( resulting in documented civil suits) ! Command staff being investigated for false complaints made Sgt D, because Sgt D not liking their friend (KB) being disciplined or Sgt D making complaints on Sgt NB to try and make waves. Sgt D not getting his way jumping command and making complaints on command staff because he didn't like the result of his complainants on Sgt NB. Until the city commissioners take a hard look at their chief and captain not running the agency properly this will continue. The city commissioners have no idea what's going on with the chief and captain. Everything is documented they just need to look into IA investigations and talk to previous commanded that left. There is a paper trail!

^^^^^^Can you lead us in the right direction to the evaluation paperwork from the Ft Myers academy? Do you know what substance he is alleged to have been abusing prior to the academy and if the academy has a file on him? Do you know if he admitted to prior substance abuse on his NPPD application or Sheriff's application? Can you provide links or names dates etc? Was he actually charged with a felony in the shooting incident? Does he hold an honorable discharge or is it another classification based on the arrest? It would make sense that he had to have been disciplined by the Marine Corps. for being arrested. Thanks we want to see the facts and there must be a paper trail if all this is true? Was he the subject of any investigations at the Sheriff's Department? Let us be clear, are you saying that he rose to the rank of Commander in 1 year without holding any other rank? Directly from patrol to commander (which is the equivalent to a Lieutenant) with all this in his history? Thank you for any information.
