Some things dont quite add up whats said in public and what is said in groups, but what was said in Ft Myers will be most interesting!

Keeping an investigation "open" means that the facts do not have to released, and it can, and probably will in this case, remain open. This provides a shield for the runt in the front office, mumbles, and their collaborators, and is nothing uncommon in the investigative realm. It provide a shield for the subjects of the investigation for an indefinite period of time, and amounts to a legal cover-up. It prevents victims of false allegations from even knowing they have been so accused, and whom did so. Witnesses and statements do not have to be revealed, truths are suppressed, and the lying little man's vindictive nature can be freely exercised. How many involved in this incident have been terminated, or quickly sought employment elsewhere since this "investigation by FDLE" commenced? FDLE is well known for talking much and doing little, and in the opinion of many in law enforcement is a useless and do-nothing entity with the exception of crime scene and lab services. It has been nearly a year, and nothing, neither a determination of guilt or innocence by FDLE. It is difficult to believe an open and shut case such as this would take so long to resolve. Don't expect any new info anytime soon. FDLE is still "investigating". It amounts to the same things we see in Washington daily, on a much smaller scale, such as "committees" who investigate known and provable wrongs, and simply vanish from public view, cease to exist and never reach a conclusion. This matter needs a resolution.
