    Wake up

The financial numbers are in. The Broward PBA has taken in half in dues in 2016 compared to 2015. However, the salaries remain the same at the PBA. Marano is still taking $54,000 from your dues while holding the title as the only leader who lost BSO. Rod Skirvin took $13,000 in dues money as a salary. Nobody even knows what he does all day. Ace lawyer Gonzalez is another $78,000 and he wants you to give up on every case. Staff is being let go and the smoke a the PBA is getting thicker. Hollywood negotiations are a mess and Pines is out of contract since 2015 but as long as the dues money keeps coming in and the leadership of the PBA gets paid, who cares right? How much money was wasted on billboards that only pissed off city officials in both Hollywood and Pines? What was the return on that investment? A personal grudge between the PBA and certain leaders was fueled and the only people who suffer from this petty personal battle is the everyday police officer. Keep paying the dues to stock the Downtown Cigar bar where Marano smokes for free and you must pay. Keep paying for the daily lunches at Slackers and Anthonys Pizza. Keep paying for the Lexus car leases for the staff. Keep paying for the golf course membership of Marano and the Boat club membership.

F@$k JM, DB, and all the staff at the PBA. They are white collar thieves. Don't forget all trips that the PBA pays in the name lobbying.

Disgusting that 1/5th of our dues go to pay just the salaries at the PBA. Then they go on vacations, golf, boating and meals un us to like we are required to be their servants. Screw that fat old man.

Does the FOP board get any money for being on the board?

Don’t worry if the FOP board gets paid, if you are a member of FOP you better check on your legal coverage. New plan now places a cap at 20K and you may receive approval for critical incident legal coverage within 48 hours. Guys at BSO are having lawyers respond to dog shootings. We need to go with what they have

So what's the problem? It has been like this for years. I started the PBA. I did get you your pension back. So it's water under the bridge. BTW dues are going up soon.
