People weren't fleeing Pensacola when Johnson was here. They are fleeing under Napoleon's reign.

No one has fled Pensacola period. People have retired and/or transferred to their home territory. I've worked all over the state in four different troops. Pensacola is a good place to work, we are understaffed and have been for 10 years now but that is not our Captains fault and it's not our Majors fault. The fault lies in lack of recruits from northwest Florida.

Like a broken record we have asked over and over to move the psychological testing from Miami. No one listens, Julie Jones said she would look into this and nothing happened. A person in northwest Florida can't take three days off during the week to drive to Miami take a test (two days travel an one day for a test) that's unrealistic to ask of someone with no job or a person who simply cant take off from his current job.

I will also say that our District commander takes great pride in our district. He has done several things to improve the working conditions here. Our parking lot has been repaired and improved. The entire building and sidewalks were pressure cleaned. The outside storage buildings have been improved and painted. The wash rack in the rear of our station was repaired and a metal roof was installed. Currently the Front office and sergeants office is also being improved. He has done many things to improve the morale here and he truly cares about his employees.

Glad your station was pressure washed and the cracks in the side walk filled. You are easy to please! Haha!

Or maybe they're mature enough to recognize when someone is trying to make positive improvements where they can.

Pensacola is better than it's been in a long time. We've got a Captain that takes care of working Troopers.

Alligator Alley is the best place to work in the state. No Admin / Brass around, no B.S.

Just you and the road ..... and back up 45 mins away.

yes, the endless flow of petty counseling letters clearly demonstrates this when the entire district is working their tails off. go away, hendrix.
