Doesn't matter untill we change hiring practice it too slow. We have always had more people applying than vacancies. The problem is out 5000 applicants we hire 5.

I'm doing the math. Look at our vacancies and YOU do the math. We are short handed and have been for quite some time. We keep hearing "the bodies are coming". While you train these "bodies", the same amount of "bodies" have left, so there is no net gain......how's that math?

There are two in the Academy right now that missed the cut off for a local agency. That agency isn't holding another Academy till next Spring. A large good paying agency. So these two got their offers from FHP at the same time and accepted. Both have already said they'll be leaving, either to the same large agency or to a new one, within a year.
I won't say which area of the state they are from, in order to protect their identities right now while they are in the Academy.
