    Where's the witness of the Audi at the red light? Did the city pay them off to stay quite?

    The department has the red light camera 🎥 video! Clearly shows the
    Officer failing to yield and come to a complete stop at the red light. Total violation of policy!!!!! They are trying to spin the story by making it look that since the officer was responding to an emergency 🚨 call the poor man failed to yield to an emergency Veh.

    The family got a lawyer already so hold on for another pay out 💰

    But as you can see the lies and cover ups! How the city put the blame on the poor old man. That's why you always got to get a lawyer and sue.

    Accident happen. The officer and department should be held accountable. Yes, we make mistakes, our mistakes cost people their freedom or life. No matter how the department spins this. The officer was in the wrong. Officers have been let go, for way less then taking a mans life. Now, for the FOP and/or the department offering a 1k to help pay for the burial. That in itself was a nice offer. Yet, over the years I've became jaded with MPD or FOP'S scams. I wouldn't be surprised IF this family sues. The 1k would look like a settlement offer. Not only does the family have to live with losing a loved one. The officer has to live with taking a life, thru his carelessness. Another thing to consider. Their are some in patrol and a few in other unit's. If this were you. Grand jury would have met and you would be indicted. Cause you not part of the F&F plan or any connection with city hall. Via, your parents or something. Those 3 rookies come to mine. (yes not related) They made jokes! Fired. Cause a minority, employee got offended. JOKES! Not a life. So is the chief going to get fired over this??? Maybe city hall should take a page out of NMPD book.

    Whoever is spinning, better review FSS 316.072. read below:

    (b) The driver of a vehicle specified in paragraph (a), except when otherwise directed by a police officer, may:
    1. Park or stand, irrespective of the provisions of this chapter;

    (c) The foregoing provisions shall not relieve the driver of a vehicle specified in paragraph (a) from the duty to drive with due regard for the safety of all persons, nor shall such provisions protect the driver from the consequences of his or her reckless disregard for the safety of others.
