If anyone can help. I'm looking to relocate to the area and checking out the pay scales for some departments in the area. Can anyone tell me what is the pay scale is? How many steps and whats the cap? does the sheriff offer specialize unit modifiers and for what units?

There are no honest answers here, only filth from the bully's who are self-representing our agency. Please don't think the these few nasty trolls are a reflection of everyone who works here. Could things be better? Of course. But we all know that any pay scale with our agency is totally 'interpretive' by the so-called 'command staff'. Hard work is not a factor in our agency, it's how well you are liked and how good you look in uniform that gets you any where at all. Good luck.

Starting pay $37, 500 after ten years you move to $ 37, 500. Once you hit fifteen years your at a total of $37, 500.

See another liar on here, we got a raise last year, it was nice, are we behind yes, but to lie and say there hasn't been a raise in ten yrs is just stupid, when you call HR they will tell you or better yet go on line and see our yearly budgets and they will show, too many jackasses on here
