Captain Gus Duarte sued by retired MDPD officer

Captain Gus Duarte, the individual in charge of watching our every move on body cams just got sued by retired MDPD Officer Carlos Acosta.
Turns out Acosta was 18d by a subject who fled the scene and while he followed the vehicle the subject pointed a firearm at him a couple of times. The units finally arrived at the scene and that is where Duarte made his presence known. He informed the retired cop he "no longer had police powers" and had him illegally detained for four hours trying very hard to find an excuse to arrest him. Instead of arresting a fleeing subject who committed an Agg Assault. That is Duarte's response! A total disrespect to an honorably retired MDPD officer.

I remember Duarte's "vehicle blockade scenario" at Field Force Traing a couple of years ago. The guy must have gotten his inspiration from the Dukes of Hazard tv show. We could not stop laughing when he explained it. Funny how this overwight slob always finds cake jobs! Just look at his latest gig watching bodycam videos and eating popcorn all day.
