Weight standards for recruits may be a thing in the past!

Rumor is they will be removing the weight chart requirement for recruits due to shortage. I personally believe that the weight limit was bullshit considering that it goes out the window after graduating. Why be strict with weight when its not enforced for troopers and the pay is shit.

Word on the street though is that they didn't go by the weight chart, it was more of a "recommendation" and as long as your not morbidly obese, they'll let it slide.

I think that's been going on for awhile. Have you seen all the little chunky fat girls they have been graduating lately? Imagine what they will look like 12 months from now if they look like that at graduation......

Wow what a pile of crap in this thread about recruits! Look at longtime troopers instead. LTC isn't our poster child! And Chuckie Cheese Swindle equals two LTCs. Every Troop has guys with BMIs well past the obesity levels.
