    Does MCSO offer academy sponsorship's or do you have to be precertified?

    Do not even bother with them, unless you have the need to be part of waste management and kiss some serious butt to get where you want. Apply on the mainland anywhere, Miami-Dade will be better pay, more movement to different specialty units and you can afford a house on your own.
